Chevy S-10 blown head gasket

My truck popped the head/head gasket. 2000 S-10 2.2L Is this common? Should I fix or replace truck? I am on the fence and I request a push please. Dr. Hagerty

i had over 200,000 miles on my last s10 i had, 96 model 2.2L , never had a head issue. good lil work truck if you ask me

I only replaced a couple,not real common.putting a head gasket on these arent that bad.I would just replace the gasket and check the head with a straight edge for warpage.

Sit on the fence with a bottle of Bundy, (Aussie dark rum) polish it off and you are sure to fall one way or the other,

Here in Malaysia because of corruption, the quality of the fence is suspect. Don't be surprised if the fence gives way.

Well, I fixed the problem, it was plugged up steam holes in the head gasket. Mechanics dont maitain their own vehicles, so it was my bad. Truck back on the road again, happy happy joy joy
