We have about 80,000 miles on this van, and while it was sitting out in the hot Texas weather the other day the adhesive that sticks the mirror on on snap-on base let go and the mirror shattered and fell.
Ordered a new mirror only and the guy said it "snaps on." Yeah, only after you get the old one off. My hubby has worked on it quite a while this evening but is concerned about messing up the remote-control aspect of this mirror if he pressed too hard.
Any tips/ideas?
