I haven't been driving my car because I hurt my ankle and my brother has been driving it once in awhile. So one night he went to go somewhere for me and the headlights didn't go on. The parking lights lit up like usual but not the headlights. The blue light for the high beams lit up when he turned on the headlights. I'm not sure what's wrong. We checked the fuse and it looks fine, what could it be?

Did they go out all-of-the-sudden or did you have problems beforehand such as them only working on the bright setting?

for awhile the left headlight was dim and if i played around with the wire it would work but it hasn't. the last time we were in it the lights were still working and the one night he went to use my car he turned them on and it didn't work. now the highbeam light goes on when we turn on the headlights. what could it be?

If only the high beams come on, one of the headlights is out. You always want to replace them in pairs though. Replace both bulbs and that should fix the problem.

Well, if both headlights don't work at all, something has gone bad before the actuall lights. If it worked before, you could try it again. It doesn't sound like the switch on the steering column is bad because the dash indicates high beams.

I'm not familiar with the particular vehicle, but something is preventive voltage from getting to the headlights.
