I have a 98 neon that has started running rough. it will drive fine and then the rpm's will drop from 3000 to 2000. the engine continues to run but i get no "drive power". Its like the engine seperates from the transmission and then reattaches. I thought it might be a fuel delivery prob. replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter. no change. what else should i look at?
