98 chev cheyenne 5 L no brake rear sig lights

pull the bulbs out again and check for power at the sockets with lights on, if you have no power , a brown wire from both sockets goes to a connector under the truck, locations differ with vin#s just trace the brown wire it powers everything in the rear

Thanks. That's what I did. Found there was poor connection at both lights. Pried bulb contacts out a bit to make better contact & it works. What threw me was both going bad at same time. Thanks again. Cliff

no problem , you may want to buy new sockets , there are pretty cheap and you wont have thta problem again , but abyway im glad we got it quick
