Recently had the Harmonic Balancer Replaced, which also broke the lower case of the timing belt cover.
After the repair was complete, my car idles rough, the rpm at idle is between 0-1 and when it shifts automaticly into 3rd seems rough, and that I have to really rev up the engine before it will shift, whereas before the repair, it would kick into overdive, like if I want to pass someone quickly, I could just punch it and it worked beautifly and smooth, straight into that high gear, now its rough and seems powerless ?
I am not a mechanic but am a troubleshooter and just from looking at posts around here, wonder about the Synchronizer, Timing Belt, Low Trani Fluid, Throttle, Compression? Anyone have any clue. It makes me feel so bad (being a lady) having another problem that happened right after getting a repair done, not sure if it was coincidence or repair caused?
Thanks for any help :(
