96' Bonneville-- makes noise in rear

I don't know how to explain the noise, but when you hit the smallest bump in the road, it makes a loud annoying noise.. you can hear it on the inside of the car and it is really squeaky. I can't figure it out. Please help!!

by what info your giving sounds like its ur shocks or struts need replaceing... when hitting a bigger bump is making a thudding sound?? squeaky sound would be coming from the coil springs... jump or push on the back of the car and if bounces more than acouple of times before becoming still then rear struts need replaceing... hope that helps..
