When I tried to connect the CD player to the car by myself, i cannot figure out which one is the positive cable and negative, becasue the color of the cable is 2 white and one red, one white cable with black strips is thicker then the other two. when i try the red as positive the the thick for ground and the last one for negative, it wont turn on the player; but if i use the white for positive and red for negative, the thick white for ground, it keeps burning off the fuse for the heater but the player have been turned on for once, then it keeps burning off the fuse. It must be short curcuit, but anyone know why is it like that?

I am sure the cable from the player is right, it is just the positive and the negative and the ground problem. And the CD player must connect the ground cable or else it wont be turned on. Can Anyone help me?

use a multimeter to check for your hot/live wires and ground the player to chassis !
