My girlfriend has a 95 Grand Am (v6 model) w/ roughly 137k mi. When the car is idle and you give it some gas, you can hear the engine hesitate. On the road the car will accelerate fine if you drive like an old lady, but the second you try to give it a little more gas, the car starts to shake and hesitates a few seconds before it decides to accelerate. Very problematic on the highway when the car refuses to speed up at all. Now the car won;t go faster than 25 even when the gas pedal is pushed rather far down, still shakes.
