My rover 214SEi just died on me at the traffic light.
The RAC came out, checked the fuel lines, they were fine, checked the plugs and leads, they were fine plugs sparking and they did a compression test which was also fine. So they just recovered the vehicle to my home.
If there is fuel present and there is a spark what else could cause it not to start, the RAC guy was as puzzled as I was.
The car was running perfect until I pulled up at the traffic lights, it idled fine for about 20 secs then just cut out. It makes no effort to try and start like it isn't firing or there is no fuel, but there is? anyone got any ideas. Your help is much appreciated.
