I have a 2001 PT Cruiser with about 78,500 miles on it. I recently have had a lot of work done on the car's front end. I had the Lower control arms replaced as well as the sway bar links and bushings. My problem is that when I put the car into reverse after having it in drive or vise-versa I hear a popping noise under the car when I break. It only happens once (meaning after I change gears the initial break you hear the pop, but then it doesn't happen again). I thought it was the bushings so I was shocked to hear it again after picking my car up from the shop after having them replaced. Does anyone know what this problem is? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
