2001 F250 "thud" sound

I have a Superduty F250 V10- crew cab,- truck has 57,000 miles on it-
When I am driving local on roads and go to brake- I hear and feel a "thump" coming from what sounds like below the gal petal. Nothing appears to not be funtioning correctly. I've checked for anything loose but cannot find anything- Any ideas?

Were's Vinnie? I think you should check the lower control arm bushings. and all front end parts. Also if the front brakes have been done check the slides..
