After shampooing the 4.6L V8 engine in FLA. I am experiencing continual problems with the OD/Traction Control/Transmission Shifting while at speed on highway. When the accelerator is depressed slightly the temp gauge will peak & flash, the transmition seems to shift into passing gear (engine races) and the traction control light comes on on the dash. Symptoms are lessened by turning O/D off before hills. If the accelerator is not released immediately upon the symptom happening, the engine light will come on and the engine will turn off (at highway speed).
I have cleaned, lubricated and re-connected every electrical connector under the hood thinking moisture was the problem. I cannot seem to isolate a module that is responsible for the O/D, Traction Control or the Transmission downshift through Alldata but am sure there must be one somewhere.
