hi i have a pergeot 306 just had new engine installed ever since theres been lots of black smoke coming from the car its been in the garage bout six times since i got it back any one have any suggestions thanks

Black smoke means it's running way too rich, too much gas. Try the Engine coolat temp sensor. Does it happen right from start up? Or after it's warm?
