Electrical problem

I've had a new battery fitted to my Peugeot 306xl which affected all of the electronics. I've sorted out the immobiliser code and also the radio code, but I can't unlock the boot. When this happened once before, a mechanic told me a sequence of moves to follow, which involved opening doors, then locking etc, which released the boot. I can't remember the sequence to follow. Can anyone help?
