Licoln Towncar, 1993, 150k mileage, V8-Automatic
Car drives fine, but shifter is really loose, and won't click into proper location. Exception if I go far left I get into reverse, and I go far right to get into drive. Other wise shifter loose, with no clicking through from far left to right. No trouble while it is in drive or reverse, but if I wanted to say get into Drive 1 I can't as the shifter is already far right as it will go and I am only in drive. Really hoping this is not a major transmission issue. Any idea on cost to fix?
-Note-Won't go into Park either.
