1993 RS Cavilier 6 cyl wagon, 341000 miles
While driving up a mountain my car developed a miss started running rough, and idled really bad. I changed spark plugs, replaced plug wires, and two of the 6 plugs would not fire. I replaced the coil for the two plugs and they still won't fire. This is the origional engine never having any major problems before now. Would like to get an idea of what it might be and approx cost before I take it somewhere for repairs.

I don't think that was quite the answer I was looking for. This car is in great shape and until I had this problem there was nothing wrong with it. I have been commuting over 600 miles a week for the past 3 years with it. All 341,000 miles were put on it by me. So I am not looking for a smart answer, instead would like an educated answer.

[quote:869a0a84ed="techman1"]You know, you should get a newer car about every 16 years weather you need one or not. You tried to drive a car with 300,000 miles over a mountain. Give me a break. Get a horse and buggy.[/quote:869a0a84ed]
