1992 Eclipse stuck tranny

I have a 92 eclipse and the tranny seems to be stuck in second gear, is there any way that this is just a vacume leak or loose wiring,oh and the car will still go in reverse.


any help is appreciated

I hate to be the person to tell you this but it is way more than just a vaccum leak if it is stuck that means that your lock pin or interlock pin is completely gone and missing. there really isnt anything you can do to fix it unless you got some really rare and expensive tools layin around... but a mechanic whom has the right tools should be able to have it done in no time at all really so now atleast you can call around and ask to see how much it would be. hope i helped u out even the littlest bit and let me know how it goes and if you have anymore questions.
