Engine Performance problem

i have a puegeot 405, 1.9l petrol single carb engine (d2d). i need to set the ignition timing to 7deg.btdc to accomondate unleaded petrol. there are 2 timing marks on block near flywheel. 1 is tdc and the other is 10deg. btdc. how do i alter it to be 7 degrees bdtc, which mark would i use. the gun i have just got is a sealey tl85. if i zero the t.light the mark on f.wheel meats tdc. so should i set the t.light to 3 and
move dizzy back until i get tdc. hence getting 7deg btdc
