1 month ago i purchased this truck and i have 3 problems that i dont know if they are related? the truck has a 351w w/ new holley 4412 carb and a manual choke. the problem is 1) high idle speed only when at running temp. otherwise follows hand choke pretty well. 2) low speed shifting, i'm in third gear at about 30mph normal driving 35 if i'm in a hurry. 3) the engine sounds like it wound tight at about 55 to 60 mph. could this be related to a vacuum modulator? i'm a back yard wrencher and i can handle most repair's if i can get pointed in the right direction.
