I have a 1974 MG Midget with a oil leak from the dipstick. I was told this was a Piston ring issue, but measured the psi from all cylinders at 158-160 psi. Do you have any ideas what could be causing the oil to spit and spatter up from the dipstick?

You can check the crankcase breather but it sure seems like blow by to me.
