my car runs fine & starts first time when cold but will not start when hot, then restarts when it has cooled down & runs fine again, the car is not over heating

Hi there,

we do not have any tech info on Alfa's in our database, but with any car showing these symptoms, i would be doing a scan to check for any unresolved fault codes and checking the coolant temp sensor, thi sis not the coolant sender that gives gauge readings, but the sensor that feeds temp info into the ECU for mixture control readings.
