Alarm set always remain on and warning chime sounds when you turn on Ignition?

This vehicle started this problem after transmission replacement. The vehicle stopped cranking from key and when put starting fluid through the inlet hose, and bridge starter relay, it will start and off. Then I trace the grounding line from ECM and corrected it and it started cranking from key only that there was no injector pulse showing that the alarm set warning lamp immobilize the vehicle from sending injector pulse signal. How do I turn off the alarm set warning lamp?

Hi,

The idea that the problem started after the transmission replacement is odd. The only thing I can think of is if something was disconnected.

If you have a spare key, see if that makes a difference. If there is no change, I have a feeling the immobilizer module will need to be reprogrammed.

I attached the directions below for reprogramming. It does require a factory scan tool or one that can communicate with the modules.

Take a look through the directions and let me know if you have questions.

"Enter secured access mode by entering vehicle four digit pin" where can I get this pin because I have tried it before but the scan tool was unable to display the pin?

Hi,

That will need to come from a dealership. To get it, you will need proof of ownership.

The four-digit skim code is required when you get into the secured access mode. That isn't something I can get.

What if I rewrite the VIN on the immobilizer or PCM, can't it reset it?

Hi,

The VIN must match. If there is a variation in the VIN number between the modules, it will cause this. So, yes that may take care of the problem.
