alarm goes off anytime i open car door

i just bought the car. it has two keys. the buttons on the keys wont work since theres all of a sudden a red light on, in between the two speedo meter and if i use the key to open the door, the alar goes off for about 15-20 seconds.

1. how do i turn off the light that all of a sudden stays on all night?
2.how do i get the key button locking and opening the car instead of directly slotting it into the door?
