Airbag light on and Horn not working

Just had a garage change the power steering rack on my wife's Audi TT. On collection I find the Airbag light on constantly and the horn doesn't work! The afore mentioned worked perfectly before the work was carried out. Any ideas would be greatfully appreciated as I feel the repair cost is down to the garage.

When replacing these racks the steering wheel should be locked in place, what i feel has happened is that the steering wheel has be allowed to turn and it has broken the clock spring, this is the device that allows power to get to the steering wheel controls if turned to far with the rack off (spun freely so to speak) this will break the clock spring connector.

this a common problem, many mechanics just dont think about this, i have seen "A" grade techs fall foul of this trap.
