Changed the dashboard out and during the process, all airbag connections were unplugged. Put new dash in the truck and plugged all connections back in, then "airbag" light in the cluster would not go off. Also, before changing the dash, the cruise control "on" indicator light in the dash cluster would not come on when pushing the on button on the steering wheel control, so I figured it was a bad clock spring. I then replaced the clock spring, the airbag light now goes off, but the cruise control light still does not come on when pushing the "on" button on the steering wheel control. Could this be the "cruise" steering wheel control itself has gone bad? I was about to order new controls, buy wanted to ask the question first. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the steering-wheel cruise switch itself is a strong suspect now, but I would do a CAN scan to see what codes the truck has that way we don't have to guess what the problem is, please what this video.

Please go over this guide and get back to us.
