Air Suspension Warning Light

Where is the Air Suspension Warning Light on this 2004 Olds Bravada. My rear air shocks have failed, but I have no warning light that I can see.

I am going to have a local garage replace the rear air shocks with a conversion kit and need to know if there's a warning light that needs to be bypassed or disabled. I can';t see one right now.

the wiring harness only shows the dash but no light if there is one it will light up. unfortunately the fuse also does the 4wd so you can't pull it. you may get a code that can only be pulled up by a pro.

Hi,

Thanks for that information. Currently, the rear air shocks are gone and the rear of the car is resting on the springs, but I see no warning light in the dash and no warning message in the information display. My user manual doesn't even mention a warning light or message for a suspension failure. I think this car is supposed to have a self diagnostic that brings up error codes, but not sure. If so, I'll see if I can run the self diagnostic and bring up an error code, but so far I don't have any warning at all that anything has failed in the suspension system.

Well, looks like I was mistaken concerning the self diagnostic. I was under the impression (thought I'd read it somewhere) that I could bring up the error codes myself, but the main thing is that I see no warning about suspension failure anywhere, so I'm assuming that if I have my repair shop replace the air shocks with regular shocks and springs with the conversion kit, that bypassing or disabling any warning light won't be necessary?

it may come up under traction control light
and it may effect your abs system

Not sure what you mean. Bypassing the suspension warning light may affect the ABS system, or did you mean installing the conversion kit? Or did you mean not bypassing the suspension system warning light? Sorry for not understanding. ;-)

by bypassing the suspension it falls under traction control which is partially run by the abs system. so it may set an abs light and or traction control on . I'm not sure about that as I've not done a conversion like that.
