I’ve been trying to troubleshoot this for almost 2 weeks now. I replaced my front struts and shocks, and I noticed the vehicle was handling very poorly which led me to find out that air compressor was not kicking on. I have looked at every YouTube video imaginable as well as searched this forum. I’ve replaced every fuse associated with the ALC relay, including the relay itself. It will not come on with the computer. When I squeeze the rear shock cause there is no air prevalent in them at all. I replaced the compressor entirely just to make sure before I found out I could jump the pins. I did this and I did get it to come on. I do not seem to have power to pin 85 and the fuse is good. I’m not sure what else to do? I have also don’t have any codes showing on the dash. I’ve checked All three fuses spots (under hood, inside driver side dash, rear panel) and I don’t have any blown fuses. The only three things left I can think of are either a bad air ride sensor, bad ground or something wrong with the fuse block itself. This still doesn’t tell me why there’s no power with the vehicle running to pin 85. I’m at my wits end

Okay, first pin 85 is ground so you will not have power there, so can I ask if all four shock have the Magneride? If so you cannot use after market shocks they have to be OEM or the system will not work. I have gone through this before with other members FYI. If you have only two ride height shocks in the rear then this is a different system and must approach it as such. The systems are very different. Please let me know.

Okay that makes sense then, I guess I was going off all the info from previous thread. Only the front two shocks and struts have been replaced and I replaced them, I’m not sure if the rear has ever been done by the previous owner or not. I’m wondering if this has never worked since I bought the vehicle and it just felt rough ride like this. I’ve had it for 4 years I can’t ever remember hearing the air ride compressor come on. There is 4 ride neigh as sensors one at each wheel and yes they are all magneride but the company I got them from says it’s direct OEM replacement

Nope, these are super cheap parts and will not work. You will need OEM units or the system will operate. I would take them off and return them.

Well that sucks. That’s crazy that they would say that these would suffice for OEM. What a nightmare this has become. I can’t afford OEM right now. But thank you for your time. If something changes I’ll post here
