Settings on the knob are the usual face/floor/defrost and max A/C. if actuator is the problem i need to know the location of the actuator.

air only comes through defrost, turning the knob to different settings does nothing?

Hi,
It sounds like the mode door actuator isn't working or something has come apart. The actuator is located under the dash on the driver's side of the HVAC box.
If you look below, I attached a pic showing its location. The remaining pictures are the directions for replacing it.
