I have been working on the blend door actuator recently and no air goes through the panel vents. Do I need to put in a replacement for it to start working again? I am currently waiting for the replacement to be delivered. I am also worried I might have damaged a cable or vacuum line.

I would pay very close attention to the vacuum lines.Vacuum leaks are the primary reason for this concern on these vehicles.

Yes, the colored vacuum lines connected to the automatic climate control system are my biggest concern, as everything was working fine beforehand. I will go ahead and run down the lines, making sure there are no leaks or disconnections. There was a slight hissing sound before I worked on the car too when I would turn off the air or heat, so it may be time for new lines or ports.

I checked and as it turns out there is a yellow vacuum line that is not connected to anything, it is bolted down to hang next to the carpet. Is it supposed to just hang there and not be connected to anything? Maybe it is a intake hose or something.

Yellow is the line that goes to the defrost "motor" with it disconnected the door doesn't shut and the air all blows out the defroster.

Luckily I found that out myself with some research. I pushed down on the "motor" with my finger and it changed the door position in the vents, bringing air through the panel. I just need to reconnect the yellow hose to the nipple at the end, and it should be working fine, thank you! This is what it looks like, for people having a similar issue.
