Air is produced in the combustion chamber via compression bypassing the cylinder rings. ALL cars do this. There is a PCV valve that is to recirculate the crankcase emissions back into the engine. First, don't be too worried about this happening. They all do it to some degree. However, I do recommend that you checked the PCV system and make sure it is producing a vacuum to help draw the crankcase emissions out of the engine.
