Air in petrol tank

there may be water in the fuel tank. Had one a few years ago when it said half full it was empty and would not run. had to take the gas out and refill it. They have a bottle of Seafoam and it works by dissipating the water and cleaning anything residue that the ethanol leaves and cleans the system.

i do not think the reason is water in the tank because the car starts fine and the fuel gauge also works fine.

the fuel tank vent system is probably blocked, causing the pressure build up that shuts off the filler. check for codes and a blocked emissions filter, start here.

Okay what about the fuel consumption? i think it should be better than 180 km per gallon?
the car is 1.4 16 v model vita 96.

Tune, compression test, check O2 sensors are working electrically as if faulty they go full rich, start here.

and something else i forgot to mention that the ABS light is on. s it related to any of problems above?

check out the gas situation also . When you fill it up does the fuel gauge go all the way full. I had a car that when it got down to less than 3/4 it would run out of fuel. Found that it was half full of water. Do not know if that is the case for you. If you can run the car until about empty there should be no problem. If that is not the problem check what mphautos suggested.

The big problem is the mechanics in my country is mostly the (guessing type)

With the fuel not going in try to put it in slow and see what happens. years ago ran into a problem like that and the vent was clogged.

ABS will probably be a faulty heel speed sensor check for fault codes

The air in the tank problem is solved...but the fuel consumption is not it do about 180 km per 20 Liters.
The computer check gives no fault except front ABS sensors.

can i replace O2 sensors with Nissan one

I doubt that you can, the plugs may be wrong and the type of sensor may also be different and the attachment thread, i would strongly suggest to try and source correct sensors local or on line.

do recommend to change the engine to 1.6 ?

That could be an expensive option, probably need a new PCM and you may have to up date radiator and exhaust as the engine pipe may be different, loom may be different as well. it is never a simple task to do a re engine with a type other than what was fitted at the factory to your own model.

a good used engine will coast me around 220 US$ and its from the same car model except its 1.6

yes, but pcm will be different and you will have to check all other items to be sure.
