Code PO325

Hello, is there a reason why you're replacing all those parts? I can see doing the knock sensor, but all those additional parts at $130.00 an hour will be costly. How many miles are on this vehicle? With a real lack of power like that and no other codes, you might want to check the Catalytic Converter. A clogged-up converter will cause those symptoms, if you're not getting any misfire codes or any codes that relate to those sensors, you should check the converter first. Because if it's bad it will cost more than all those parts combined. You can do a back pressure test right at the hole where the front Oxygen sensor lives. Thats where I would recommend starting.

My rationale is to replace as many fuel/air/sensors as possible; I will ask the mechanic to check the catalytic converter; replace the knock sensor- that's the only code showing-key on. car running!! thank you for the information and recommendations. Glad to help, doing the oxygen sensors at high mileage is not a bad idea, because they do slow down with age, the Mass Air Flow can be cleaned because that usually only gets a little carbon build up on the hot wire sensor that you can see looking into the air intake tube. But most other sensors will last, most of the time it's a wire that will be affected first due to engine vibrations and the elements. The Converter should be no more than 1-1.5 PSI back pressure at the front oxygen sensor location just so you know. Hope it goes well for you.
