Cannot change air flow from floor to vent or to defrost?

Yep, this is common when the mode actuator goes out, here is the location so you can change it out. It looks like you will need to remove the glove box to get at it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

i tried to go through glove box and the space is too small! you are wrong! the dash has to be taken out.

Okay, sorry about that. They do not say that in the instructions.
