Air conditioning making loud grinding noise

Doesn't matter if it's in air or in heat mode it makes this loud grinding noise. it does blow out heat but doesn't get cold. Does anyone have an idea as to what would cause this?

Hi,

Can you get a video of this noise just so I understand where the noise is coming from? If it is coming from the engine compartment it is almost sure to be the compressor bearing which means the compressor needs to be replaced.

Let me know if you can get it and post it here and we can go from there. Thanks
