My air conditioner keeps cycling on and off. I turn on the Air conditioner and set it to recycle air. It will switch itself to outside air, every time. The air conditioner button will turn off and on on its own, which cycles the compressor off and on. I have recycled and charged the Freon and replaced the climate control panel in the dash. I do not know why it does this, or how to fix it.

have a mechanic program the control you replaced to your car and the air conditioner is supposed to turn off and on.

That would be normal if you are turning the blower speed down to low. That lowers the low side pressure and evaporator temperatures.

The air conditioner works. It comes on and blows cold. But it keeps cycling. It wont stay on the recycled air, it always switches back to outside air. And the air conditioner itself cycles on and off on its on. But when it is on, it works well.

This is a cycling system so some on and off is completely normal once the temperature comes down. If it is doing this when the temperature inside is not fully cooled down, you could have a number of things wrong. It could be doing this for high or low pressure. High pressure because it could be overcharged or there is a problem with the cooling fan or it could be cycling due to low pressure which could be a low charge or plugged up orifice tube or even a defective low pressure switch.
