How to replace the air conditioner panel?

The part will be obsolete so you will need to find a used one from a wrecking yard. Here is how to replace the panel in the diagrams below:

1. On models equipped with airbags, disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove console finish panel by prying at bottom edge to disengage retainers.
3. Remove module to console attaching screws, then pull module outward and disconnect electrical connector.
4. Remove module from console.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
6. On models equipped with airbags, rearm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
