The air conditioning cold air is not cold like before. I had a mechanic remove all the Freon and put back Freon again. The air still does not get cold as it should. What should I do?

Hi Jay,

Her is what you do to make sure the system is full, and to make sure the temperature blend doors are closing correctly. First start the engine and turn the air conditioner system to the full cool setting, next lift the hood and locate the larger of the two refrigerant lines which enter the firewall near the rear of the engine, reference the article below step 9:

If you do not have an infrared meter use your hand, after short time of running the large tube should get really cold like 40-45 degrees F is so the system is fully charged if not then you could have a weak compressor or the system is either over charges or under charged. Next, work the temp controls inside the car from hot to cold with your ear close to the vents you should be able the air blend door open and then close in each direction, if not the blend door actuator is not functioning correctly and needs replacing, here is a link to show what to expect for the repair

its not the same car but you get the idea, please get back to me on what you find.
