Air condition not cooling. Compressor kicking on, Freon in good range. Looked behind glove compartment. Someone had removed actuator. They pulled gear off blend door too. I got blend door actuator, blend door and gears off another van. Gear will not go into blend door rod end on my van because they messed up end where gear slides in. Looks like they tried to put a screw in end of rod at one time and gave up. If I could get gear to go in rod, problem may be solved. I have blend door, gears etc., but had a time getting out of other van. Could there be a way to fix without putting new blend door under dash? How can I get gear to stay on end of rod? I cut hole to access too , tried to push but seems stuck?
