airbag light flashed three times then one after sixteen times. What could be problem?

These are the standard Toyota SRS flash codes, they are set in groups, the first group are 10's and the second group ate single digits, so three flashes -pause two flashes will be code 32. One flash-pause four flashes will be 14. re check what codes you are seeing and report back if the code is not on this list.
