After scanning found code is showing P0327

This code is for a knock sensor problem, the sensor detects engine vibration due to incorrect ignition timing and allows the PCM to change ignition settings accordingly,have this looked at first and report back any changes, The engine should not start in D being an automatic so if this is the case the range switch is also suspect, neither problems would cause over heating quickly, the knock sensor may have some bearing on this so do that and also get the cooling system inspected for any obvious problems, low coolant, leaks, stuck thermostat no fans.
