98 Acura TL- Stereo, CD, Cassette, Anti-Theft

The stereo is locked into code mode on the screen (code e). I have been unable to clear it so i can use the stereo. I did try disconnecting the battery which did not reset it.

You need to get the serial number from the radio and contact Honda to get the code. It is possible that the code is written down somewhere is the documentation that came with the car. If it is not, make sure it is once you obtain the code.

I just wanted to add that the code requirement will appear anytime the battery is disconnected or when the radio is pulled out and put back in.
