2000 Acura TL knocking lifters

Hi, I had my whole upper end on our car done. New gaskets everything. I can hear the lifters against curbs when I drive and it runs a bit more rough than before it was fixed. The radiator blew and that is why I had to have the upper end done. I just purchased the car when the radiator blew because the previous owner patched up the inside part. I would appreciate any help . Thank you
