Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1997 Acura TL 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have been trying to reinstall the haft shaft back in to place, but i can not get the stopper ring to fit perfectly into the haftshaft groove. It sticks out and will not let me slide the halfshat into place, what should i do

O.K. problem getting axle into trans? if yes then start axle get splines lined up then with one hand hold CV housing pull axle a bit this will move roller bearings outward an inch or so . Then pop the axle inward like a slide hammer this will compress ring and seat axle.
