1996 Acura TL Front Wheel Drive Automatic 143000 miles

Hi I just got an acura 2.5 5 cyl. but I find out that when I put the key in the ignition before it starts the two fans on the engine start working even if the car is not hot, and also the alarm sounds every 20 minutes and I only have the key and also theres a code E on my radio. so if somebody can help me I really will appreciate.

do the fans go off and on ... or are they on constantly ? ... sounds like someone could have wired the fans to be on all the time ? .. possibly due to a previous fault .. the alarm seems to be sensing a voltage drop ...test these switches first

HOOD SWITCH
Open hood. Disconnect hood switch connector. . Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between connector terminals. If no continuity exists, replace faulty hood switch. If continuity exists, press hood switch lever down (closed position) and check continuity between connector terminals. If continuity exists, replace faulty hood switch.

TRUNK KEY CYLINDER
Open trunk lid. Disconnect trunk key cylinder switch connector.Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between connector terminals. If continuity exists, replace faulty switch. If no continuity exists, rotate key to UNLOCKED position and check continuity between terminals. If no continuity exists, replace faulty switch.
TRUNK LATCH SWITCH
Open trunk lid. Disconnect trunk latch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between connector terminals. If no continuity exists, replace faulty switch. If continuity exists, place switch in CLOSED position and check continuity between terminals. If continuity exists, replace faulty switch.
