will not crank over

Brand new battery. When I turn on car panel lights light up, no click sound. In the beginning it would turn on after second or third attempt but now it will not start. I can push start the car and runs fine but once I turn it off will not turn on again.

Hello,

This sounds like you have a bad starter but to confirm the issue use a test light to see if the small trigger wire is getting power when the key is turned if so the starter is bad. Here are two guides to help you see whats going on and how to change out the starter with diagrams below:

Car wouldn't start. Replaced the battery, then the starter. Still will not crank.

try it in neutral?

I tried to start in park and neutral, would not start. Checked all the fuses, none were open.
