Hi derke0324,

Misfiring could be due to spark plugs and related components or fuel pressure. Get them checked.

Running rich could be due to the following :

1. MAP sensor.
2. Throttle position sensor.
3. Fuel pressure.
4. Injectors.
5. Air filter
6. PCM.

Do you have any trouble codes?
Was anything done prior to this occurring apart from replacing the sensors mentioned?
Is the ignition timing correct?

If only misfire codes are present, you would need to check/test those components that can cause them.

A scan tool to monitor the data stream might be helpful.

The possible causes have been listed out for you. You need to perform test to find out.

A scan tool to monitor the datastream would be the most accurate.

The rough idle indicates the possibility of misfiring.

Ignition timing can be checked with a timing light.

Yes, if the ignition timing is out of specs, it can cause misfiring. Possible cause would be the cam timing that is out or the PCM needs to be updated or replaced.

When compression are low, longer cranking time would be required when starting.
Performance would be affected. Lack of power might not be too noticeable unless under loaded driving conditions.

Richer running condition due to reduced intake air volumn.

If vehicle can be started, you can drive without any problem.
