2003 Acura RSX Bumps on smooth surface

have you had the struts checked for any leaks and softness, as for the cruise, check for a fuse, i have seen these with faulty cruise switches as well.

No, I havent checked the struts, to my limited knowledge of cars (which isnt much) i would assume that faulty struts would exaggerate a bump that actually exists in the road, correct? Going over actual bumps feel as one would expect them to feel...further thoughts?

Ya i was expecting the cruise to be a fuse myself, either way i dont use it that much so its the lesser of the issues.

a faulty strut will cause the car to bounce more when driving over rough roads, rule of thumb is 1 1/2 osculations back to rest when you bounce the corner of the car, also the car would tend to wander over the road to some degrees well.

Ok checked the struts to best of my ability, they seemed fine according to your rule of thumb - it went down as i applied pressure, came up upon release, and a small amount of recoil, but not much.

It doesnt really wander, although it pulls a bit to the right (thats likely just needing a steering alignment).

I checked the tire pressures, the back right was a little low. I put some air in it, but that didnt seem to make much of a difference. Could it be something to do with uneven tire tread? or something to do with tires. Because like I said, its not that bumpy roads cause a really bumpy ride, its that on newly paved roads if feels like there are small curvy bumps... they are almost uniform every time i decelerate to stopping, but again, you almost have to be looking for it...maybe im just paying too much attention to a non-issue?
