Pull the door apart from the inside. Take off the inside panel. Have the window up. You need to unhook the rods and then get inside with a small wrench to take off the couple of nut or screws. Once you get inside you will get a feel for it. The sad but good thing is that once you have done it you now understand how to do it. Lesson learned and then forgotten as you are probably now good at it.
