I drive a '91 Acura Legend Coupe with a 3.2L V6 and just under 290,000 miles on it (good till about 310 if I dont total it first). I got in a small accident back in Feb. (slid into a curb in the snow on my driverside) and now when I take left turns there is a tapping/grinding sound. what could be the cause? I took it down to Les Schwab and They could not tell me what it was. they thought CV Axle so I had it replaced but the sound is still there. it's nothing life threatening but its pretty annoying/embarassing. they also said it may be the bearing but after checking that out they concluded that it wasn't. They made the assumption that possibly something is bent and when I turn left it "Flexes" and creates a tapping sound against something

It is possible that the metal behind the disc rotor could be bent in to touch the rotor. Check on that.
